Ingredients
- 250 g Barilla spaghetti
- Mince Ingredients
- 300 g beef mince
- 6 slices salami, chopped
- 2 rashers bacon, chopped
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 2 cm piece of leek, chopped
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- Pinch of salt
Sauce
- ¼ cup tomato paste
- 2 cups passata
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup beer
- Ashgrove parmesan cheese, grated to servePage Break
Method
Step 1
Process the mince ingredients together – either using a KitchenAid mincer attachment or a food processor
Step 2
Cook mince in a frypan until brown
Add the sauce ingredients and stir through
Reduce the heat and simmer for around 15 minutes
Step 3
Cook the spaghetti using the instructions on the packet
Step 4
Place the pasta on a serving plate, spoon over the bolognese and grated parmesan
